Run by The Samaritans, Operation Christmas Child has been providing gifts to children since 1990. It is something we remember fondly taking part in as children, which is why we decided we wanted to help this year and become a collection point for the Launceston area.
The shoe boxes are sent to children all around the world and brighten up any child's Christmas. You can choose between a boy or girl and choose the age range. Some of the things you can include are, a teddy, a toy, hats and gloves, toothbrush, school supplies or even a special note. There are some things that aren't permitted though including toothpaste, food products, drinks, religious materials and war related toys/games.

Collection week is 15th - 22nd November 2021 so get your shoe boxes to the Shack by then.
